How much do curriculum instructor jobs pay per year?
What is the difference between Curriculum Instructor vs Curriculum Developer?
| Aspect | Curriculum Instructor | Curriculum Developer |
|---|---|---|
| Required Credentials | Teaching certification, subject expertise | Educational background, instructional design skills |
| Work Environment | Classroom, training sessions | Office, remote, development teams |
| Employer & Industry Usage | Schools, training centers | Educational publishers, e-learning companies |
| Common Search/Comparison | Yes | No |
While both roles focus on educational content, a Curriculum Instructor primarily delivers lessons directly to students or trainees, requiring teaching credentials and classroom experience. In contrast, a Curriculum Developer designs and creates curricula, often working behind the scenes in offices or remotely. Understanding these differences helps clarify career paths and job expectations in education and training sectors.
