Happy Cures Therapy Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our compassionate team. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, offering you the flexibility to provide counseling services from a location that suits your needs while being part of a dynamic outpatient facility. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients’ psychological states, identifying appropriate treatment paths tailored to individual needs.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect a deep understanding of each patient's unique circumstances and mental health diagnosis.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy, to facilitate progress in therapeutic outcomes.
  • Lead individual and group therapy sessions focused on fostering emotional resilience, personal growth, and improved coping strategies for varying mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care that addresses both psychological and medical needs.
  • Assist and provide support during crisis situations, utilizing critical intervention skills to stabilize patients during mental health emergencies.
  • Educate patients and their families on mental health resources and treatment options, promoting a clear understanding of conditions and care procedures.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress, adhering to legal and ethical standards of mental health practice.
  • Engage in case conferences and team meetings to contribute insights and updates regarding patient care, striving for continual improvement in practice.
  • Stay abreast of current research and advancements in mental health treatment modalities to enrich practice and improve patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clientele at Happy Cures Therapy Clinic includes individuals struggling with a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders. Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • A valid and current license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois is mandatory.
  • In-depth understanding and application of mental health disorders, evidence-based modalities, and trauma-informed care principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive assessments, accurate diagnoses, and effective treatment planning.
  • Experience in facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions with proficiency in a variety of therapeutic methodologies.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport and strong therapeutic relationships with patients.
  • Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications for documentation and patient management.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting while upholding ethical standards of practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
  • Strong crisis intervention experience is highly desirable, allowing for effective management of acute mental health situations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the delivery of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to diverse populations.
Compensation and Benefits
