About the Role
A JARS Curbside Associate is a key part of our in-store sales team, focused entirely on preparing and fulfilling orders for curbside pick-up and delivery dispatch. This is an in-store position with no driving required. You will play a critical role in making sure every order is packaged accurately, compliantly, and ready to go - ensuring a seamless experience for every JARS customer.
Job Duties
  • Package and prepare customer orders for curbside pick-up and delivery dispatch with accuracy and efficiency
  • Verify that all order contents are complete, correctly labeled, and meet CRA compliance standards prior to fulfillment
  • Assist curbside customers with a welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional demeanor
  • Verify customer identification and information per CRA rules and regulations at pick-up
  • Accurately verify cash amounts and process payment during curbside transactions when applicable
  • Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure delivery orders are packaged and ready on time
  • Manage and maintain proper documentation associated with order fulfillment and ensure records are complete and organized
  • Promote JARS customer perks including the Loyalty Program, referrals, and promotions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace throughout each shift
  • Escalate customer issues to upper management when appropriate
  • Maintain a positive, caring attitude and treat customers and co-workers with respect
  • Respond to customer and coworker needs in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Follow all JARS company policies and procedures in all on-the-job interactions
  • Work scheduled shifts and adhere to the company's attendance policy
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a retail, sales, or hospitality environment
  • Knowledge of cannabis strains and applications preferred
  • Must be able to handle fast-paced situations and multi-task effectively
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Basic math skills required
  • Strong attention to detail and CRA compliance rules and regulations
Work Schedule & Physical Demands
  • In-store position - no driving required
  • Requires prolonged standing and frequent back-and-forth movement within the store
  • Frequent contact with customers and staff throughout shifts
  • Varied hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and events as needed
  • 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts available
