Site Development Estimator

Heavy Civil Construction | Full-Time | Southwest Florida

A reputable heavy civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced Site Development Estimator to support a growing civil division. This role focuses on producing accurate, competitive bids for site development and infrastructure projects across Southwest Florida.

Key Responsibilities (Must-Haves)
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for site development and heavy civil projects

  • Perform quantity takeoffs from civil plans and specifications

  • Price labor, equipment, materials, trucking, and subcontractors

  • Analyze construction methods, sequencing, and productivity

  • Identify scope gaps, risks, and constructability issues

  • Support bid reviews and assist with project handoff to operations

Project Experience Required
  • Mass earthwork and grading

  • Underground utilities (water, sewer, storm)

  • Roadway and drainage construction

  • Site concrete, curbing, and retaining walls

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of estimating experience in site development or heavy civil construction

  • Strong knowledge of earthwork and underground utilities
