Job description

Warehouse Associate

A Warehouse Associate will work to efficiently move product through the assigned area to meet customer's standards. You will have the opportunity to cross-train in multiple areas to grow your skills thus promoting a work culture that represents our vision, mission, and values.

Summary

This Warehouse Associate will assist in packaging and 1/4 kegging with the processing of all inbound products. Associate will also be responsible for other tasks in the kitting and packaging area as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Receive, pick, pack, inspect and ship products to customers
  • Verify and process customer orders to their specifications, ensuring accuracy of shipments
  • Assist in the processing of all outbound shipments
  • Track all inventory through the use of radio frequency (RF) scanners to ensure accurate inventory
  • Assist in our 'Dock Done' process which includes putting away product back to the shelves
  • Meet key metrics as defined by Warehouse Leaders which may include safety, culture, customer needs, quality, and on-time delivery
  • Maintain the safety and security of all associates
  • Report to work on time and as scheduled
  • Support key warehouse areas as assigned
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Forklift experience or willingness to be trained
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and nonverbal
  • Problem solving skills
  • Basic computer/data entry skills (Warehouse Management Systems)
  • Basic math skills

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Work Environment

This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role may routinely use equipment such as scanners, forklifts, utility knives, ladders, machinery, and tape guns. Employees may be exposed to bright lighting, blue light (i.e., computer screens), repetitive low to mid volume sounds (i.e., forklift traffic, packaging machines, etc.), warm and cool temperatures, and various metals and plastics.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly standing. The employee will need to have the ability to move and lift up to 70 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. This job will require the ability to push, pull, stoop, crouch, kneel, and reach when necessary.

Travel Some travel may be expected for training purposes.
