Job description

Ignite Your Passion for Discovery in the Lab: Join an Energized Diagnostic Team in a Scenic Southern Haven
Overview
We're on the lookout for a Clinical Lab Technician who seamlessly combines curiosity and precision. If you're dedicated to enhancing patient care, one sample at a time, this is your opportunity to shine. In this full-time, first-shift position at a thriving community hospital nestled in a picturesque Southern location, you'll play a key role in delivering transformative diagnostic outcomes. Collaborate with a team of mission-driven professionals and benefit from a comprehensive rewards package designed to nourish your career trajectory and overall well-being.
Description - What You'll Do
  • Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and others-adhering to established protocols.
  • Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and maintain and calibrate lab equipment proactively.
  • Support specimen collection and prepare testing samples as required.
  • Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new team members, and uphold laboratory quality standards.
  • Ensure a clean, safe working environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical or Clinical Laboratory Science, or related allied health field, alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
Certifications
  • ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Maintain active certification throughout your time with us.
Skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal aptitude for fostering effective teamwork within healthcare settings.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving in dynamic, high-pressure situations.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in documentation and quality control.
Benefits
  • Attractive salary package influenced by experience and qualifications.
  • Inclusive market-leading benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • Generous time-off from day one, along with vacation and holiday time credited for experienced hires.
  • Opportunities for continuing education and support for professional growth.
  • Extensive total rewards program focused on your complete well-being.

Transforming Numbers into Lifesaving Impacts
In this vibrant setting, your technical dexterity guides vital decisions, influencing the lives of patients. Each sample analyzed could reveal an infection or uncover metabolic irregularities, contributing to a system that thrives on accuracy and reliability-a source of assurance for doctors, nurses, and the patients who depend on them.
A Collaborative Community Spirit
This opportunity transcends mere employment; it's part of a close-knit community. You'll be immersed in a culture that promotes continuous improvement. Engaging in seasonal in-lab meetings, competency refresh sessions, and process enhancement initiatives will encourage your voice to be heard and valued. You'll have the chance to serve on committees, suggest innovative practices, and mentor newcomers.
Discover a Community Where Care Meets Connection
Visualize a charming Southern locale-tree-lined streets paired with the warm embrace of the sun, bustling farmers' markets filled with local produce, and a rich variety of arts festivals at your doorstep. Quaint cafés form the backdrop for meaningful conversations, diving into topics from local happenings to culinary delights. Your precious time away from work could be spent sailing on serene waters at dawn or basking in the glow of a summer concert in the park among swaying pines. The community is rooted in friendliness and collaboration, principles that resonate deeply within the healthcare sector.
With easy access to nature trails, cultural venues, and a plethora of recreational activities, life here is balanced and fulfilling. Commuting is effortless, making for a refreshingly different pace from bustling city life. Coupled with reasonable housing costs, your paycheck will stretch further for memorable experiences-al fresco dining, weekend adventures, and local sporting events.
Contributing to Collective Well-Being
Every lab technician in this region is more than just a contributor; they are vital to the health of the community. Your expertise creates ripples of impact: quicker diagnoses, enhanced patient care, and improved operations. The gratitude expressed by those you help-often through sincere thank-you notes-reminds you of how essential your work truly is in crafting an atmosphere of effective healthcare.
Embrace New Horizons in Your Career
If you are pursuing more than just a paycheck-if you are motivated by the desire to make a difference, expand your skills, and enhance community health-then this is the position you have been waiting for. Whether you are a recent graduate or bring a wealth of experience, you will find encouragement, challenges, and opportunities awaiting you.
Ready to Embark on Your Next Journey?
Step into a role where your precision meets a community committed to care-a space where every lab report tells a story of healing and hope. If you are ready to invest your talents in a position that celebrates meticulousness, teamwork, and compassion, we eagerly anticipate your application.
