Job Summary

The Culinary Arts Instructor is responsible for planning and delivering instruction in culinary techniques, food preparation, nutrition, sanitation, and kitchen management. The instructor provides students with hands-on learning experiences while maintaining a safe and professional kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver culinary arts curriculum.
  • Demonstrate food preparation, cooking, baking, and presentation techniques.
  • Teach food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Supervise students during laboratory and kitchen activities.
  • Assess student performance through practical and written evaluations.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment, inventory, and supplies.
  • Foster teamwork, creativity, and professionalism.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Professional culinary certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
