Job Duties and Requirements
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with staff.
Training and Experience: Must be CPR Certified; must have 6 months experience working with children. Customer service experience necessary.
Job Knowledge: Musthave a basic knowledge of how to handle children, to include care, safety and entertainment. Must be creative, a team player that takes initiative and have excellent communication skills.
Job Summary: To provide a fun and safe environment for the members' children; assist in organizing monthly kids craft events and monthly children's events and programs. Must administer CPR and first aid as needed, deliver top quality service by knowing and using the members' and their children's names. Must be a team player, to include working the Fitness Center Front Desk and perform locker room checks; be a leader and role model to the other staff team members at all times.
Physical Abilities: Must be able to work standing on feet for several hours at a time. Must be able to lift, carry and move a minimum of 30 pounds. Must be able to handle playing with many children at one time.
Job Duties and Functions
  • Be punctual at all times and arrive to work on time, consistently.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays.
  • Clothing must be in proper taste, crisp, clean, and in good repair, upon entering the property, including wearing name tag. Demeanor must be professional and welcoming.

Nursery Attendant:
  • Become proficient on all appropriate equipment and games and their safety features.
  • Make sure all side work is complete, before opening.
  • Greet members and their children by name whenever possible.
  • Watch, entertain, and provide a safe environment for the children of the members while their parents are exercising, at the pools, Café, Mansion, or playing tennis.
  • Working varied monthly, and holiday children's events.
  • Keep the Cubs Den clean, organized, and safe for the children.
  • Check supplies, informing the supervisor of any needs relating to these items.
  • Have members sign in their children, informing them of the cost per hour.
  • Ring in all Cubs Den charges to the member's numbers.
  • Answer the phone, forward calls or take detailed messages and deliver to the appropriate person.
  • Learn the Point of Sale (POS) computer system, ring in all sales.
  • Sign in new members.

Camp Counselor:
  • Group supervision of campers with attention to all of the following: program, health, happiness, discipline, cleanliness, safety, routine duties, character and skill development.
  • Help campers plan, carry out and evaluate projects and activities.
  • Promote camper participation in all activities.
  • Assist campers with housekeeping chores.
  • Take turns with other counselors for various responsibilities.
  • Teach or assist with camp programs and encourage camper participation.
