Position Summary
The CTU Manager leads the daily operations of Copart's Centralized Title Unit (CTU), overseeing title processing for a single location while ensuring compliance, accuracy, productivity, and exceptional customer service. This role is responsible for leading and developing the CTU team, driving operational improvements, and partnering with cross-functional leaders to support business objectives and maintain regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the CTU, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vehicle titles and ownership documents.
  • Manage, coach, and develop Title Supervisors and Title Specialists, establishing clear performance expectations and accountability.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, turnaround times, backlog, and service level metrics; implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company title processing requirements while minimizing operational risk.
  • Partner with Regional Operations, Yard Leadership, Finance, Legal, Compliance, IT, and Employee Relations to resolve complex title issues and support business initiatives.
  • Analyze operational metrics, identify trends, and develop action plans to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead staffing, workload planning, employee engagement, and performance management activities.
  • Support system enhancements, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the CTU.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in title operations, automotive, logistics, financial services, or a high-volume operational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams, improving processes, and managing operational performance.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle title processing, regulatory compliance, and customer service principles preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with Workday or title management systems is a plus.

Working Conditions

Pay: $69,902 - $78,599
