Job description

$2000 New Hire General Education Teacher Incentive for the 2026-27 School Year


POSITION: .5 FTE, CTE Agriculture Teacher - Churchill County High School
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and qualify for teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education.
REQUIRED LICENSE: Must possess or be able to possess a Nevada teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education.
DEFINITION: The teacher provides instruction to students including preparation, assessment and management.
SALARY:  This position is a .50 FTE and salary for this position will be pro-rated based on the amount of hours worked daily.  (For reference:1.0 FTE Salary ranges from $46,049 minimum - $92,806 maximum depending on experience and education.) 








 *Additional pay: SB500 funds will be added for the 26-27 school year
BENEFITS: Health, dental, and vision insurance is available to part-time staff at a monthly cost. Sick leave and personal leave included. Nevada has no state income tax.
