Job description

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country's largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. CTDI has over 11,000 FT US Employees in over 60 world class US Operations. CTDI also has a global footprint with more than 20,000 employees worldwide.
Electronic Mechanical Specialist is responsible for the set-up, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of custom lab test environments for the proprietary CTDI testing equipment at our operations facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Configure, test, and troubleshoot electronic equipment and PC's.
  • Set-up, configure, test, and trouble shoot custom lab test environments.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software connectivity issues.
  • Qualify and run tests on various communications equipment.
  • Ability to travel as required to assist other branches to set up equipment (20%).

Essential Skills and Experience
  • IPC 610 certification or A+ Certification is preferred
  • Ability to understand a DOS and LINUX Shell Scripts
  • 2 years of experience in electronics or computer engineering field
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and diagrams
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to operate a PC running Microsoft and Linux OSs, as well as execute CLI commands
  • Basic understanding of Virtual Machines
  • Good manual dexterity

Education
  • Associate's degree in Electronics or equivalent field
