What is a CTC?

CTC stands for 'Cost to Company.' It refers to the total amount a company would spend on an employee in a year, including salary, benefits, bonuses, allowances, and any other perks. CTC is not the take-home salary; it also includes contributions toward provident fund, gratuity, insurance, and sometimes even taxes paid by the employer.
