Job description

Solvita is seeking a dedicated Donor Referral Center (DRC) Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our 24/7 Donor Referral Center. In this role, you will guide a team responsible for the accurate and timely evaluation of potential organ, tissue, and eye donors-work that directly impacts lives and advances our mission of saving and enhancing life through donation.
This position is ideal for a detail-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment and is passionate about operational excellence, team development, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee, plan, and lead daily operations of the Donor Referral Center.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and operational procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Manage staff competency, training programs, and ongoing development.
  • Perform DRC duties-including screening, authorization, and case management-when needed to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Coordinate scheduling to ensure reliable 24/7 staffing coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards.
  • Serve as Solvita's subject matter expert for iTransplant, EMR systems, phone/recording systems, and DRC logistics.
  • Foster strong interdepartmental collaboration and communication.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and cross-functional project teams.
  • Assist with payroll processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
  • Associate degree required.
  • At least one year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS), or eligibility to obtain certification within two testing cycles.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule based on operational needs.
