Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech โ€“ Ultrasound specialty in Washington Court House, Ohio, United States. Responsibilities
- Perform and document general ultrasound examinations, including breast imaging, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation.
- Position patients, operate ultrasound systems (Canon Xario 1000, Canon Aplio i600) and manage Morg Pacs for image storage and retrieval.
- Adhere to infection control protocols (including Trophon) and maintain equipment safety and cleanliness.
- Communicate findings to radiologists/physicians per departmental guidelines and assist with procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensure proper scheduling and throughput, and comply with privacy and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Active RDMS-General certification.
- One of the following additional certifications: RDCS, RVT, RCS, or RVS.
- 3+ years of ultrasound experience, including breast ultrasound.
- Experience with Canon Xario 1000 and Canon Aplio i600 ultrasound systems; familiarity with Trophon equipment and Morg Pacs workflow.
- Ability to work a 5x8 Day shift in a hospital setting.
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the assignment location.
