Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
CT Technologist to join our imaging team in Sierra Vista, AZ. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality CT imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities - Perform CT scans and related diagnostic procedures according to physician orders and department protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging studies, ensuring safety, comfort, and compliance
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring proper calibration and performance
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all imaging procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic imaging
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and adjust imaging procedures as necessary
Required Qualifications - Certification: ARRT (Computed Tomography) certification required
- Licensure: Valid Arizona State License for Radiologic Technology
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years as a CT Technologist
Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of advanced CT imaging techniques and protocols
- Experience in a hospital or trauma setting
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and diagnostic accuracy standards
