Surgical Technologist CST - FA - First Assistant
MLR is in search of a Surgical Technologist CST - FA - First Assistant to join a surgical team a part of a large Healthcare System in South Carolina. Helping surgeons and being a part of the surgical team during complex procedures and major surgeries.
Pay: $67,046 - $98,312
Schedule: Days and Nights
Key Responsibilities:
  • Positioning the patient for the procedure, dressing wounds, and transporting them to and from the operating room
  • Communicating the surgeons preferences and patient needs to the surgical team, helping the surgeon apply surgical techniques, and providing intraoperative skills
  • Implementing safety measures before, during and after surgery and preventing bleeding; selecting equipment, restocking supplies, and cleaning and sterilizing instruments
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Surgical Technologist Certification
  • License to work as a Surgical Assistant
  • BLS
