Job description

Piper Companies is seeking a CSSO - TS/SCI CI Poly for a leading technology organization in the Reston, Virginia area. The CSSO - TS/SCI CI Poly role is a fully onsite position requiring 5 days onsite per week. The CSSO - TS/SCI CI Poly will support classified programs by managing personnel security, physical security, contract security administration, and compliance activities across multiple government contracts. An ideal candidate for the CSSO - TS/SCI CI Poly role is an experienced security professional with an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph and a strong background supporting classified environments. Responsibilities of the CSSO - TS/SCI CI Poly: • Manage security administration for assigned classified contracts, including onboarding, offboarding, clearance requests, account management, and scheduling activities. • Maintain and update personnel security records within government systems such as DISS and NIST repositories, as well as internal security databases. • Support physical security operations, including escorting personnel, access control procedures, and electronic device entry and exit compliance within SCIF environments. • Assist with new SCIF buildouts and ensure compliance with government security requirements and facility regulations. • Coordinate with government customers and internal stakeholders to maintain security compliance and support classified program operations. Qualifications of the CSSO - TS/SCI CI Poly: • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is required. • Experience working with government security systems, including DISS and NIST source records. • Knowledge of physical security practices, SCIF operations, visitor control procedures, and escorting requirements. • Experience supporting classified programs through personnel security processes, contract security administration, and government account management. • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities. Compensation for the CSSO - TS/SCI CI Poly includes: • Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 depending on experience • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, Sick Leave as required by law • This job opens for applications on 07/31/2026.
