Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) to manage and oversee security operations within classified environments. The CSSO will be responsible for implementing and enforcing security policies, coordinating personnel access, and ensuring compliance with government directives and contract requirements. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of secure facility protocols.
Key Duties
  • Implement and enforce security policies within classified environments
  • Coordinate personnel access and maintain compliance with government directives
  • Oversee secure facility operations and ensure adherence to contract requirements
  • Manage access control systems, visitor management, and video monitoring systems
  • Conduct security briefings and training for staff and visitors
  • Monitor and maintain SCIF access procedures in accordance with ICD 705 standards
  • Respond to and resolve security incidents and violations promptly
  • Prepare and maintain accurate security documentation and reports
  • Supervise security personnel and provide leadership during daily operations
  • Liaise with government security representatives to ensure compliance and resolve issues

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in physical security, access control, or military/law enforcement
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or site lead role within a secure or classified environment
  • Knowledge of ICD 705, SCIF access procedures, and secure operations protocols
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • Familiarity with access control systems, VMS, and visitor access protocols
