Job description

Raytheon Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO)

RTX - Raytheon is seeking an experienced and driven Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) to join our Special Programs security team in McKinney, TX. This position plays a critical role in supporting SAP programs by implementing and maintaining robust security postures in compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) requirements. As a member of RTX's Global Security Services organization, you will oversee the protection of sensitive national security information and ensure program continuity through proactive security management. This is a highly visible role that requires regular interaction with internal program managers and staff, external customers, and U.S. Government representatives.

What You Will Do

  • Perform duties as primary and/or alternate CSSO across various SAP contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with the DoD Manual 5205.07, NISPOM, and ICDs.
  • Interface with DoD and IC customers; prepare for, coordinate, and support recurring security inspections.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain program-specific security documentation including SOPs, OPSEC, emergency action, and security test plans.
  • Maintain personnel security records and manage access requests using DISS, JADE, and other relevant systems.
  • Provide security oversight to subcontractors via DD Form 254 and ensure flow-down of customer requirements.
  • Conduct incident inquiries or investigations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead and/or facilitate security indoctrinations, refresher training, and debriefings.
  • Physical Security
  • Develop and maintain Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs) for SAPF accreditations.
  • Establish and maintain secure areas in accordance with ICD 705 and applicable construction and TEMPEST standards.
  • Willing to travel 10% to 15%.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience with DoDM 5205.07, ICD-705, and other applicable security directives.
  • Experience with Microsoft Products

Qualifications We Prefer

  • CDSE SAP Security Certifications (e.g., Introduction to SAPs, SAP Mid-Level Management, ICD-705 course).
  • DoD 5220.22-M, ICD-703/704, JSIG and RMF familiarity, DD Form 254 processes, SOP development.
  • Hands-on experience with SCIF/SAPF accreditation, TEMPEST, FFC, and developing Construction Security Plans (CSPs).
  • Proficiency in security systems including DISS and JADE.
  • Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or similar discipline.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
