Job description

Who you are:

We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality, reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems. This role involves designing and executing automated test strategies within DevSecOps environments, supporting release readiness activities, and collaborating closely with development, cybersecurity, and operations teams. The position also provides technical mentorship, drives testing standardization, and promotes continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.

What you do:

  • Develop, execute, and optimize automated testing frameworks.
  • Design and implement automated test strategies within DevSecOps environments.
  • Support release readiness activities and collaborate with development, cybersecurity, and operations teams.
  • Provide technical mentorship and drive testing standardization.
  • Promote continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct hands-on testing to ensure the quality and performance of systems.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in relevant roles.
  • Experience developing and executing automated testing solutions and frameworks.
  • Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar technologies.
  • Experience working within Agile and DevSecOps development environments.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and defect management processes.
  • Experience using CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting federal, defense, intelligence, or highly regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of security testing, performance testing, and vulnerability validation practices.
  • Experience with cloud-native applications, containers, and microservices architectures.
  • ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester (CAT), Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE), or similar certifications.
  • Familiarity with automated API testing, test data management, and test environment administration.
  • Experience mentoring QA engineers and leading testing improvement initiatives.

  • Active Top Secret clearance
