Mandatory Qualifications:
Five (5) years of experience with various Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) methods, such as point-to-point EDI, EDI Network Services Provider, FTP over VPN, SFTP and FTPS, etc.
Three (3) years of experience interpreting HIPAA rules and regulations for implementation by a covered entity.
Three (3) years of experience participating in HIPAA- based projects for Transactions, Code Sets, National Provider Identifier requirements, CAQH CORE Operating Rules, or similar practices/standards compliance.
Three (3) years of experience performing complex systems analysis.
Three (3) years of experience working with program staff and managing relationships with program staff.
Three (3) years of experience working within the healthcare industry.
Desirable Qualifications
Accepted agile certification, such as Project Management Institute - Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
Two (2) years' of experience participating in a practice or standards development process led by a CMS-recognized standards development organization (SDO), such as ASC X12.
Additional years' of participation in national HIPAA standards settings organizations, workgroups, and other HIPAA-related organizations.
Two (2) years' of experience with Medicaid programs.
One (1) year of experience with State of California programs and organizations, or other similar government experience.
Additional years of experience for mandatory experience qualifications.
Additional years of experience for desirable experience qualifications.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in information technology.
Certification: Accepted agile certification, such as Project Management Institute - Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
