What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential streets, common areas, amenities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report suspicious or prohibited activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and maintain professional communication with residents, property staff, and responding public services personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
