Leidos needs a Senior Network Operations Engineer at Creech AFB Nevada to design, secure, and sustain missioncritical infrastructure supporting RPA operations. Step into a role where your skills directly shape the mission.

Leidos has an immediate career opportunity for a Senior Network Operations Engineer supporting the CNOC at Creech AFB . This role provides critical network engineering expertise to a highvisibility, missionessential environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide fullspectrum network engineering support including planning, design, evaluation, and optimization of network components supporting daily operations and mission systems

  • Support network upgrades, installation activities, and lifecycle maintenance for the Air Force's RPA Operations Center

  • Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain Ciscobased network infrastructure, longhaul communication transport, and NSA Type1 encryption devices

  • Utilize network test equipment to validate performance, identify issues, and ensure operational readiness

  • Support C4ISRrelated mission systems and ensure network reliability for distributed operations

  • Collaborate with Air Force and contractor personnel, delivering clear communication and exceptional customer support.

  • Work independently in a fastpaced operational environment and provide onsite technical expertise

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline and 8 + years of experience Additional related experience and advanced certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • IAT II (CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, and/or Security+) is required.

  • Current Top Secret SCI Security Clearance.

  • Familiarity with:

    • Cisco IOS

    • IP routing protocols

    • Longhaul communication transport

    • Network test equipment

    • NSA Type1 encryption devices

  • C4ISR experience supporting mission systems

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in team environments

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior military experience

  • Current CCNP is highly preferred.

  • Current Top Secret SCI Security Clearance

  • Experience supporting UAV/RPA operations centers

  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing virtualized network architectures

  • Handson experience with Type1 cryptographic equipment

  • Experience configuring and managing the network components of the AFRL SecureView system
