We are seeking a highly motivated Senior C2ISR Network Engineerto support our USAF contract on Robbins AFB, GA. This project is in support of the 402d Software Engineering Group (SWEG) at Robins Air Force Base, GA.ย ย The Senior C2ISR Network Engineersupports the 402d SWEGโ€™s mission by working closely with engineers, developers, administrators and other technical teams supporting a variety of weapon system platforms and airframes such as the F-15 and F-35 fighters, the B-1B bomber, the C-5 and C-130 cargo planes, the MQ-9 Reaper and the HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter.ย  All work will be performed on base.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate C2ISR systems and technologies, ensuring seamless functionality and operational efficiency across complex network environments.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and support to resolve network-related issues, ensuring continuous system availability and performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, software developers, and military personnel, to ensure effective integration and operation of network systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation on network configurations, system designs, and troubleshooting procedures. Provide regular reports and status updates to leadership.

Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret security clearance with SCI Eligibility required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer/Electrical Engineering
  • Security+ CEand one of the following:
    • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
    • Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) Certifications
  • 8 years of Network Engineer experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) network design and management.
  • Hands-on experience in performing configuration, integration, and upgrading of network components across the DCGS enterprise.
  • Hands-on experience supporting the design, installation, and integration of new network devices, including routers, cryptographic devices, and other related equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Network Service Request (NSR) and Port Service Request (PSR) processes and their practical implementation.
  • Strong background in working with network platforms such as CISCO, Aruba, Juniper, and VMware NSX network virtualization.
  • Ability to perform at a Senior/SME level with minimal to no assistance from junior staff.

  • Facilities are open 6am-6pm - you can work with your customer leadership to set hours
  • You can flex time during the 2 week pay cycle - avoid using PTO for appointments
  • A compressed work schedule may be available at the discretion of work center leadership (i.e. 4/10 or 9/80)
