Job Overview

UltaHost is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our Finance Department. This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about finance, technology, and operational excellence, and who are eager to grow within a fast-paced international company. As part of our finance team, you will play a key role in managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payment operations, and improving the efficiency of financial processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Post and maintain daily financial transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO), ensuring accurate coding, classification, and supporting documentation
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations across fiat and crypto accounts, investigating and clearing variances promptly
  • Manage and monitor payment operations across Stripe, other online payment gateways, and cryptocurrency payment channels (wallets, exchanges, and processors), including recording deposits, withdrawals, transaction fees, and FX/crypto revaluation
  • Oversee payment, invoicing, and collection processes end to end
  • Perform daily bookkeeping activities and ensure financial data accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and management reports
  • Support fraud prevention activities, chargeback handling, and refund management, including crypto-specific transaction monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and confidentiality procedures
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial workflows and operational efficiency
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliation of payment processor and wallet balances to the general ledger
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation, including a complete audit trail for crypto transactions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar accounting platforms
  • Previous experience in the web hosting, cloud, SaaS, or IT industry is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with online payment systems such as Stripe is considered an advantage
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
