Group Details

We are seeking an experienced Digital Assets Product Specialist to support the continued expansion of Tradeweb's institutional cryptocurrency trading platform and broader digital asset infrastructure strategy. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience across institutional electronic trading, crypto market structure, liquidity connectivity, and operational workflows, with particular expertise in counterparty risk, custody, collateral management, and prime brokerage models within digital assets. Acting as a senior product specialist supporting business leadership, this individual will help drive enhancements across Tradeweb's digital asset trading ecosystem, including exchange and liquidity connectivity, execution workflows, counterparty integrations, custody infrastructure, and operational scalability. The role requires close collaboration across Product, Engineering, QA, Security, Infrastructure, and commercial teams to deliver scalable, institutional-grade trading solutions aligned with evolving market structure and client requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a product and market structure specialist supporting Tradeweb's institutional digital asset trading initiatives and platform expansion efforts.
  • Support development of institutional trading workflows spanning execution, settlement, custody, counterparty onboarding, collateral management, and post-trade operational processes. 
  • Provide subject matter expertise on institutional cryptocurrency market structure, liquidity models, exchange connectivity, custody frameworks, and counterparty risk considerations. 
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to guide delivery of scalable, resilient, and client-focused trading solutions. 
  • Support the design and enhancement of API integrations, liquidity connectivity, and front-to-back workflows across the digital asset trading stack. 
  • Assist business leadership in evaluating emerging trends across tokenization, digital asset infrastructure, prime brokerage models, and evolving institutional trading practices.

Qualifications

  • 7-12+ years of experience across institutional electronic trading, digital assets, trading technology, prime brokerage, custody, or fintech environments.
  • Strong understanding of institutional cryptocurrency trading workflows, exchange connectivity, liquidity models, API integrations, and electronic trading infrastructure.
  • Experience working with crypto market makers, exchanges, custodians, prime brokers, or institutional liquidity providers.
  • Deep familiarity with counterparty risk frameworks, collateral workflows, settlement processes, custody models, and operational controls within digital asset markets.
  • Strong understanding of front-to-back trading workflows, including execution, settlement, operational support, and post-trade lifecycle management.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives across business, product, engineering, operations, and external counterparties.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across both technical and business audiences.
  • Familiarity with tokenized assets, blockchain-based market infrastructure, and evolving digital asset regulatory frameworks is a plus.

  • The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $200,000 to $260,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule.  The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
