What our Senior Crypto Tax Associates Do:
  • Analyze the U.S. federal and state tax impact of Blockchain, Crypto and Digital Currencies (BCDC) and special initiatives and the related support needed to operationalize those initiatives
  • Assisting clients with legal entity structuring, token analysis, deal analysis, revenue recognition, sourcing, and implementation of clients' tax objectives.
  • Performing detail-level reviews of tax research, agreements, work papers, and tax filings
  • Perform diversified accounting, auditing, and tax assignments under the direction of a manager or partner
  • Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards
  • Know, understand and abide by the firm's policies and procedures
  • Meet time constraints and client deadlines
  • Possess technical knowledge sufficient to assist staff associates
  • Guide tax staff and interns through completion of projects, training when necessary

Qualifications:
  • Attained a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • Two or three years related experience and/or training
  • Cryptocurrency experience highly preferred
  • CPA license, licensed attorney, or working toward CPA licensure
  • Must be able to communicate and function in an interdisciplinary team
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Demonstrated computer skills and experience with accounting software
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

We offer a discretionary profit-sharing 401k plan, certification bonuses, education reimbursement, 10 paid holidays, and up to 27 days of PTO per year. Employees are eligible for a performance-based incentive bonus on top of base salary. The base salary range for this role is $62,000 to $94,000 per year.
