Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who can manage core accounting operations, support accurate financial reporting, and help maintain strong internal financial controls. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to daily accounting activities while partnering across teams on reporting, analysis, and process-driven initiatives.


Responsibilities:

·   Responsible for full cycle Accounts Payable (AP): invoice and payment processing, aging report review, 1099 preparation, discrepancy resolution, vendor management

·   Prepare standard and non-standard journal entries (intercompany transactions)

·   Performing variance analyses and preparing account reconciliations

·   Prepare Bank Reconciliations

·   Prepare Financial Statements

·   Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules

·   Support month-end and year-end close process

·   Cashflows and budgets

·   Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and tax team or with other departments

·   Perform special projects as assigned

·   Handle various other duties as delegated by Management

·   Follow all organizational systems, programs, training, policies and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seek guidance as required

·   Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner

·   Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

·   Minimum of two-three years accounting experience (full cycle accounting), family accounting office or real estate experience preferred

·   Experience in crypto mining/trading is a plus

·   Experience in US and Canadian tax compliance is a plus

·   Strong computer skills: Microsoft Suite and QuickBooks

·   Strong Excel experience preferred, pivot tables, V Look ups, etc.
