Job description

The selected candidate will join the MFC Classified Cybersecurity Team as a COMSEC Custodian supporting Special Access Programs (SAP) and collateral Programs, located in Troy, AL to ensure classified information systems (IS) meet cybersecurity requirements and government directives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, detailed knowledge in cryptographic techniques, including crypto key receipt and distribution; operations of managing a COMSEC Account; install crypto keys and troubleshoot COMSEC equipment; provide COMSEC support/oversight to establish secure voice and data links as required; and ensure COMSEC compliance in support of successful government reviews.
The candidate will support the development/administration of a robust COMSEC Training Program for the COMSEC user community on the handling of keying material, job aids and equipment; manage a COMSEC Material Control System and inventory process; safeguard/account for classified and unclassified COMSEC Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCIs); disseminate, inventory, and destroy COMSEC keying material; maintain COMSEC records; perform courier duties for COMSEC material and equipment, perform all COMSEC related investigations and comply with security procedures. Candidate may be required to provide support to other MFC locations.
