Job description

TeleSolv Consulting is seeking professionals for multiple onsite opportunities supporting the Federal Government in Data Analyst, Fiscal roles based in Washington, DC.
This opportunity is focused on candidates with criminal investigative experience related to seizure and forfeiture. It is not primarily a technical role.
A strong candidate may have prior banking experience or federal seizure and forfeiture experience, including reviewing banking records and related financial documentation.
  • Review and analyze financial transactions, accounting activities, and data to identify suspicious patterns or anomalies indicative of fraud or other financial crimes.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into financial irregularities, utilizing various databases, financial records, and other resources to gather evidence and support findings.
  • Prepare detailed investigation reports that summarize findings, methodologies, and recommendations for action. Clearly communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with internal departments such as legal, and asset forfeiture, as well as with external partners, such as law enforcement agencies and regulatory authorities, to coordinate investigations and share relevant information.
  • Monitor and analyze cryptocurrency reports to identify fraudulent activity.
  • Prepare notice letters, advertisements, reports and analysis of summaries, documenting findings, actions taken, and recommendations for remediation. Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • U.S. Citizen.ย 
  • Associate degree or two years of financial/data management work experience that demonstrates records management (along with a High School Diploma or GED Certificate).
  • Knowledge of blockchain technology/crypto assets is highly preferred
  • 2 years of Financial/data management experience.
  • Active Public Trust Tier 4a Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain.ย 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.ย 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.ย 

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience reviewing/auditing financial documents.
