Job description

Operate the Copper and Molybdenum Crushing and Milling Plant at Origin Mine, leveraging extensive experience in mineral processing operations, with a specialized focus on crushing and milling processes. Showcase proficiency in the intricacies of mineral processing workflows, ensuring optimal functionality of equipment and upholding rigorous production standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor crushing and milling machinery and equipment to achieve production targets safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks and regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
  • Adjust equipment settings and process parameters to maintain product specifications and maximize throughput.
  • Monitor material flow and adjust feed rates as necessary to optimize production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other operators and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report production data as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Crushing and Milling Operator in a mineral processing plant, preferably in Copper and Molybdenum processing.
  • Strong understanding of crushing and milling processes, including knowledge of crushers, mills, and associated equipment.
  • Ability to interpret process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
  • Familiarity with basic maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques for crushing and milling equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to mineral processing operations.

Criteria/Conditions:

  • This is a Safety sensitive role.
  • While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear, see, and work in confined spaces.
  • Occasionally may be asked required to life moderately heavy to heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the workday.
