Position Summary: The Quarry Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, productions, activities, maintenance functions, and personnel at a quarry facility. The role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective extraction, processing, and distribution of aggregate materials while maintaining compliance with all company policies, environmental regulations, and federal, state, and local safety requirements. Job Description:Supervise and lead quarry personnel, including equipment operators, laborers, and maintenance staff. Plan and manage daily production schedules to meet operational targets. Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, and company safety policies. Monitor drilling, blasting, crushing, and screening activities. Coordinate maintenance and repairs of equipment to minimize downtime. Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and incident investigations. Track production metrics, material inventory, and operational costs. Collaborate with management on continuous improvement initiatives. Train and mentor team members to maintain a skilled workforce. Qualifications:5+ years of experience in quarry, mining, or aggregate operations. 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
