A Day in the Life:
This position is located in the Bunge North America soybean processing plant in Decatur, IN. The Loader (extraction) is responsible for safely and efficiently loading trucks and rail cars with soybean meal in the crush department.
Position Details:
40 hour week. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
Pay: $30.99 an hour

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Move rail cars by operating a switch engine
  • Load soybean meal and other products in trucks and rail cars
  • Fill out all paperwork in accordance with department procedures
  • Operator computer system to input customer and product information
  • Perform regular checks and make adjustments on equipment as needed
  • Must have a commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system, and comply with customer and regulatory requirements
  • Report any concerns with safe food practices
  • Assist other operators as needed
  • Follow good manufacturing practices

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to work safely and follow policies and procedures
  • Basic computer and mechanical skills
  • Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Good communication skills
  • Good attendance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in an industrial environment
