Sea Bags - the original maker of one-of-a-kind totes, handbags, and accessories crafted in the USA from recycled sailboat sails - is looking for a Part-Time Cruise Ship Greeter to join our team in Downtown Portland, Maine for the summer season.
This unique outdoor role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with visitors, thrives in a lively atmosphere, and wants to represent a well-loved Maine brand. As a Cruise Ship Greeter, you'll welcome cruise ship passengers as they disembark, share information about Sea Bags, and invite guests to visit our Portland Flagship Retail Store using promotional coupons and friendly conversation.

What You'll Do
  • Welcome cruise ship passengers as they arrive in Portland and create a friendly first impression of Sea Bags.
  • Distribute promotional coupons and provide directions to our Portland Flagship Retail Store.
  • Engage visitors with enthusiasm while sharing the Sea Bags brand story and Maine heritage.
  • Answer basic questions about the brand, store location, and products.
  • Represent Sea Bags professionally and positively in a busy waterfront environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the retail team to help drive store traffic during cruise ship visits.
