Can I work on a cruise with no experience?

While some entry-level positions may be available to those without prior cruise experience, training is usually provided on the job, and a clean driving record is often necessary.

How to get a job driving a cruise ship?

To become a cruise ship driver, you typically need a valid maritime license such as a Master or Mate license, relevant experience in navigation or commercial shipping, and completion of safety and certification courses. Employers also look for strong communication skills, physical fitness, and the ability to work long hours in a confined environment. Gaining experience through maritime training programs or certifications from recognized maritime authorities is essential.
