Key Notes About Position
  • 2nd Shift positions available: M-F; 10:30am - 7:00pm
  • 3rd shift positions available: M-F; 8:30pm - 5:00am(pay differential for 3rd shift)
  • These positions are temp to hire* (will be hired after required probationary period)*
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a warehouse
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a daily basis
  • Experience operating stand upreach truck, cherry picker, order picker and electric pallet jack (Crown Reach Truck)
  • Reach truck: 2 years (Required)
  • Warehouse: 2 years (Required)

Responsibilities
  • To provide excellent customer service by ensuring that orders are pulled, packaged, converted, shipped and loaded accurately and free from visible damage or defect
  • Pull, pack, stage or convert orders for shipment using a computer-generated work order or verbal instruction from supervisor
  • Package material for shipment according to shipping requirements and/or customer specified instruction
  • Ensure that all product/shipping labels are legible
  • Include job and order numbers on order tickets
  • Use computer equipment to generate labels, check stock, input data for shipping status, prepare UPS/FedEx shipments and create shipping manifests
  • Load or unload trucks making sure: truck is chocked before attempting to unload and load product; truck bed is clear of debris, obstruction or defect for safe entry/exit; incoming product is free from damage and coincides with packing list or return authorization; and freight is properly positioned and secured in the truck
  • Responsible for properly securing loads for delivery
  • Accurately complete and maintain all forms and records legibly
  • Perform housekeeping duties to keep work area clean and free of debris
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
