Job description

To recruit, hire and train an elite merchandising team that represents Crescent Crown Distributing in a professional manner in the retail trade. To constantly strive to build our business in terms of market share, volume, revenue and profitability over the entire market that Crescent Crown Distributing covers. To continually work with both the merchandising team and the sales team to ensure that shelves and displays are always properly stocked and that our products are properly rotated. To help ensure correct pricing and point-of-sale at retail. To lead the merchandising team in developing outstanding relationships and provide “Best in Class” customer service. To assist the sales team in route selling and reset execution when needed.

  • At least 21 years of age;
  • Valid Louisiana driver's license and acceptable driving record;
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of management experience;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of sales or sales management experience at chain grocery level;
  • Excellent personal merchandising skills;
  • Ability to make rapid, accurate decisions;
  • Ability to relate to the merchandising team, account managers, and sales department personnel effectively;
  • Provide own reliable transportation for regular business use;
  • Ability to perform tasks on a computer, tablet or other wireless device;
  • Able to continuously lift/carry at least 50 lbs. Able to push/pull heavy loads at least 240 lbs.
  • Consumer product industry sales/merchandising experience is preferred;
  • Beverage sales/merchandising experience preferred;
  • Undergraduate college degree or acceptable position-related experience level preferred.
