Job description

How do you feel about a little friendly competition? Do you have impeccable Tetris skills? What if being in the best shape of your life didn't mean having to spend hours in the gym. Our Order Selectors work to win! They are the industrial athletes of the Beer Business and strongly contribute to the success of our business in the market.
What You'll Do:
You will operate a double ride-on electric pallet jack and build pallets for the next delivery day. Each order selector picks approximately 2,000 cases of beer per night. This is an extremely physical and fast-paced environment. As we said, we are the industrial athletes of the beer business!
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to the following work environments:
  • Temperature controlled environment (72-76 degrees).
  • Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, and work in high and precarious places.
  • Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts.

Crescent Crown Distributing believes in rewarding hard work with a pay-for-performance system. You will earn $19 per hour starting day one. Our Order Selectors' hourly rate increases based on their speed and accuracy. You can earn up to $29 per hour for your performance.

Here's What You Need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One (1) year of previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Prior food/beverage, or other similar fast-paced order picking experience is desired
  • Voice-pick experience is very desirable
  • Promotes and observes safety and security procedures, uses equipment and materials properly
  • Ability to maintain and operate a ride/walk pallet jack, including frequent mount/dismount
  • Ability to regularly lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally push/pull over 100 lbs
  • Requires fast-paced repetitive lifting of 25-35 lbs
  • Able to regularly bend, reach, stoop, and walk throughout the warehouse
