Job Title: Welder/Fitter
Job Type: Full-time
Pay/Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour DOE
Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday, 6 AM โ€“ 4:30 PM
Job Description:
Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. is immediately recruiting for a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to join a very busy Temple area manufacturer. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication of mild steel and stainless-steel products by safely operating MIG welding equipment, grinders, band saws, and pneumatic tools. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately, and the skills necessary to perform fit-up, tack, and finish welding within close tolerances.

Responsibilities:
  1. Safely Operate Equipment: Operate MIG welding equipment, grinders, band saws, and pneumatic tools in accordance with safety guidelines and procedures.
  2. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints accurately to understand project specifications, weld requirements, and dimensions.
  3. Fit-Up and Tack Welding: Demonstrate the ability to perform fit-up, tack welding, and finish welding for both mild steel and stainless-steel products within close tolerances.
  4. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of welded products by adhering to established welding procedures and quality standards.
  5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
  1. Welding Skills: Proven experience and proficiency in MIG welding for mild steel and stainless-steel products.
  2. Blueprint Reading: Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications.
  3. Precision and Detail: Skill in performing fit-up, tack, and finish welding with precision and attention to detail.
  4. Physical Stamina: Ability to lift to 50 pounds and carry objects for distances up to 25 feet. This position also requires bending, squatting, kneeling, and standing for long hours. Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled work environment
  5. Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines.
  6. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
