Job description

Responsible for the accurate assembly of dry agricultural spreading equipment.


Responsibilities

  • Assemble hydraulics, brakes, electrical and parts kits
  • Drill, grind and prepare steel parts
  • Assemble parts to create finished unit
  • Quality control to ensure all equipment assembled matches drawings and Newton Crouch standards
  • Work independently or with Final Assembly team to ensure equipment is assembled in timely manner
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and free of any hazards

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years of machine operating experience
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools i.e.: handheld plasma, grinder, cutting torch, etc.
  • Ability to read and understand CAD drawings
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift is required
  • Build and maintain relationships within team
  • Exhibit a high level of personal integrity
  • Display sound judgement and common sense
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude toward self and others

Newton Crouch Company (NCC) has served the agricultural industry since 1940 as a spreading and spraying equipment innovator. NCC manufactures fertilizer and lime spreaders, spreaders for compost-litter-sludge applications, liquid sprayers for fertilizer, nitrogen, chemical or herbicides; specialty roadside right-of-way sprayers for weed control plus de-icing brine application, and a combination of liquid and dry equipment.


We also provide training, service, and parts for all our equipment. Our large inventory of parts includes pumps, fittings, and tanks ensure equipment is kept in top condition. Service, dependability, and quality construction are our priority. Our equipment is used throughout the United States as well as in Canada, Mexico, Columbia, Japan, Thailand, and Belize.
