Job description

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a urologic surgeon who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. If you want to make a difference in someone's life every day, consider a position with a group of two urologists who are doing just that, making a difference. Join Adventist Medical Group and our 150-physician team which provides primary and specialty services for Adventist HealthCare in Montgomery and Prince George's County, Maryland and the surrounding areas. The position is in Rockville Maryland.

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • Degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy

  • American Board of Urology certified or Board-Eligible (within 5 years of completing residency)

  • An interest in oncology a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Excellent skills in maintaining highly confidential information

  • Skilled in compiling clinical documentation in a timely manner

  • Experience working with an electronic medical record preferred

  • Strong clinical background and business acumen

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people at various levels.

  • Successful track record in primary care and specialty integration in a multispecialty group practice environment

  • Successful record of leading quality initiatives in a group practice setting.

  • Working knowledge and experience in practice leadership in a population health/medical home environment

  • All interested physicians must exhibit dedication to support, grow and develop the Medical Group.
