Key Responsibilities

As an LICSW, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting detailed clinical assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs, followed by developing personalized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices.
  • Implementing various therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other appropriate modalities to help clients navigate their challenges.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
  • Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver comprehensive and integrated care.
  • Participating regularly in case consultations and peer reviews to ensure the highest quality of care and keeping abreast of best practices in the mental health field.
  • Providing education and support to clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources within the community.
  • Staying informed about the latest research and developments in mental health to incorporate evidence-based practices into your treatments.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adults facing a variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your role is crucial in helping clients develop coping strategies, enhancing their self-esteem, and building resilience to cope with life’s challenges.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid license to practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting, demonstrating your commitment to excellence in mental health service delivery.
  • Crossover knowledge of various evidence-based therapeutic interventions, with particular emphasis on solution-based approaches.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering authentic connections with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a community health setting or outpatient clinic.

Compensation and Benefits
