General Information Work Location: Bradenton Area Convention Center- 1 Haben Boulevard, Palmetto FL 34221 Work Hours: 15-25hrs per week, Varies to support events including nights and weekends. Expected Starting Hourly Range: $17.36 - $21.70 General Information To perform routine janitorial duties and/or assist in the set-up, tear-down and cleanup of furniture, equipment for events held primarily at the Bradenton Area Convention Center, The Powel Crosley Estate, and/or the Premier Sports Campus. Position will work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts

Assists in repair and replacement of portable lighting, sound and electrical equipment, goal nets, goal posts, and benches, etc. used for events. Communicates clearly, effectively and tactfully, including understanding and following instructions, procedures, etc.

Performs other related duties as assigned, including participation in emergency or disaster response activities, as required and consistent with the employee's qualifications, essential job functions, and applicable federal and Florida law. Minimum Qualifications Must be 17 years of age or older. More Familiarity with small power tools and equipment used in set-ups and tear-downs associated with events desired.
