Job description

SERVICE SUPPORT/EQUIPMENT DETAILER

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Service Manager and technicians in the efficient operation of the department
  • Cleans, organizes and maintains the condition of shop, vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
  • Assists service technicians as needed, including delivery of parts
  • Assists service technicians with repairing, servicing and moving equipment
  • May participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
  • Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities
  • Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
  • Responsible for cleanliness of lot and maintaining landscaping of the store grounds.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. A valid Indiana driver’s license
  2. Must be able to operate residential & large farm equipment
  3. Be able to climb up and down equipment
  4. Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  5. Be able to operate a pickup truck w/trailer for lawn & garden deliveries
  6. Be on time every day

This position requires working around different crop dust and requires the use of a pressure washer to clean the exterior of farm equipment. 

HOURS:

            Monday – Friday         7:30 to 5:00

            Saturday-as needed    7:30 to 12:00

                        Two 15 minute breaks

                        One hour lunch
