Job description

Travel/Contract Registered Nurse position in Operating Room, available days and nights, 13โ€‘week assignment in or near Raleigh, NC.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients in the Operating Room, ensuring safety and comfort.

  2. Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare operating rooms, facilitate sterile procedures, and assist during surgeries.

  3. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all relevant procedures and observations.

  4. Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes in patient condition during procedures.

  5. Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:
  • Valid nursing license with current registration.

  • BLS certification.

  • ACLS certification (if required).

  • Minimum 1 year of recent operating room nursing experience.

  • Ability to work day and night shifts.

  • Strong communication skills.
