Job description

Travel/Contract ICU Registered Nurse for a 13‑week assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina. Provide critical care to patients while working multiple shifts, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess critically ill patients in the ICU setting, providing expert care tailored to individual needs.

  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans and interventions.

  3. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress, treatments, and responses.

  4. Execute emergency procedures and apply critical thinking to respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions.

  5. Educate patients and their families about health management, post‑discharge care, and treatment options to ensure understanding and compliance.

Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in North Carolina or ability to obtain one prior to start.

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.

  • Minimum 1 year of ICU experience within the last 2 years.

  • Ability to work multiple shifts.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to adapt to fast‑paced environments.
