YOU WILL
  • Demonstrate knowledge of age specific care for pediatric, adolescence patient populations.
  • Possess organizational skills, which include prioritization, planning, assessing, implementing, evaluation, teaching, and delegating.
  • Demonstrate effective working relationships with employees, physicians and leadership.
  • Ability to listen and confer with personnel, practitioners, patients, parents and the public.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a team member and possesses strong leadership skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to act efficiently and rationally in any emergency
  • Clear and detailed knowledge of safety, patient rights, infection control, risk management, equipment usage, and OR standards
  • Work a minimum of 18 hours a month
YOU HAVE
Requirements + Qualifications
  • Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 60 days of hire)
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Current Kentucky State Nursing License
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the operating room as a circulator and scrub nurse
