Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Operational Technology (OT) Infrastructure & Security Analyst to join our team. This role is critical in supporting, maintaining, and securing operational technology environments, ensuring the reliability, integrity, and security of systems that support essential utility services. You will work at the intersection of IT and OT, focusing on infrastructure, cybersecurity, and compliance within industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and support OT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and virtualization platforms within industrial environments
  • Monitor performance, availability, and reliability of OT systems
  • Assist in lifecycle management of OT assets (patching, upgrades, hardware refresh)
  • Support disaster recovery and backup solutions for OT environments
  • Implement and maintain OT security controls aligned with industry frameworks (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443)
  • Monitor for and respond to cybersecurity incidents within OT environments
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and remediation planning
  • Collaborate with IT security teams to align enterprise and OT cybersecurity strategies
  • Analyze logs and alerts from OT systems and security tools
  • Investigate and respond to incidents and anomalies

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in OT, IT infrastructure, or cybersecurity
  • Experience working with SCADA, ICS, or industrial environments is preferred
  • Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, segmentation, VLANs)
  • Experience with Windows/Linux systems in a production environment
  • Familiarity with OT protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3)
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity tools (SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners)
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
  • Understanding of OT security principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or IEC 62443
  • Knowledge of threat detection, incident response, and risk management
