Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Engineering
  • Design, build, and support cloud infrastructure solutions across Azure.
  • Build and maintain cloud landing zones, networking, identity, and security configurations.
  • Support multi-region and multi-tenant cloud environments.
  • Partner with engineering teams to deploy and operate cloud-native services.

Infrastructure Automation & DevOps
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and related tooling.
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines supporting infrastructure and application deployments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows.
  • Improve developer and operational productivity through automation and self-service capabilities.

Reliability, Monitoring & Incident Response
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions across critical platforms.
  • Maintain operational health of infrastructure services and cloud environments.
  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation activities.
  • Continuously improving system reliability and operational processes.

Backup, Recovery & Business Continuity
  • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Monitor infrastructure recovery readiness and data protection controls.
  • Assist in ensuring systems meet business continuity and resiliency requirements.
  • Participate in disaster recovery testing and operational readiness exercises.

Security & Compliance
  • Support vulnerability remediation, patch management, and infrastructure hardening activities.
  • Implement security best practices across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Partner with Security and Risk teams to maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support audit activities and infrastructure control reviews.

Platform & Systems Integration
  • Implement infrastructure required for application, platform, and data workloads.
  • Support Kubernetes platforms and containerized workloads.
  • Deploy and maintain serverless and event-driven infrastructure components.
  • Assist with onboarding acquired systems and infrastructure into Corient's environment.

Team Collaboration & Engineering Excellence
  • Contribute to infrastructure standards, documentation, and operational runbooks.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and provide recommendations for infrastructure improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles.
  • Strong experience administering and operating Azure cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
  • Experience supporting Kubernetes platforms (AKS, EKS, or similar).
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus, ELK, New Relic, or similar solutions.
  • Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, Go, or similar languages.
  • Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, identity, and access management.
  • Experience troubleshooting production systems and participating in incident response activities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Financial Services, Wealth Management, FinTech, Healthcare, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting large-scale Azure environments.
  • Experience with serverless technologies such as Azure Functions or AWS Lambda.
  • Experience working with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms.
  • Experience supporting disaster recovery and multi-region deployments.
  • Experience integrating acquired environments through M&A activities.
  • Familiarity with Databricks, data platforms, or modern cloud-native data ecosystems.
  • Experience supporting compliance frameworks such as SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001, FINRA, SEC, or ICFR.
  • Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, or other relevant cloud certifications.

Physical Requirements
  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
