Director, Cross-Channel Investment

Job Description

The Director, Cross-Channel Investment sets and connects investment strategy across the full paid media ecosystem for a single client account. This role serves as the central coordination point for Investment across planning, activation, optimization, measurement, and client communication. Acting as both lead and connector, the Director ensures recommendations are clear, actionable, and tied to measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Planning & Strategy: Lead cross-channel investment strategy and high-level tactical planning, aligning teams on objectives, budgets, and audience priorities.

Audience & Full-Funnel Planning: Partner with Channel-specific investment teams, Data & Analytics, and Strategy to develop integrated full-funnel audience approaches.

Activation & Performance: Advise across planning, activation, optimization, and measurement to drive cross-channel performance with Data & Analytics.

Escalation & Quality Control: Own escalation for pacing, performance, and execution issues, and review all deliverables for quality, strategic soundness, and investment viability.

Innovation & Marketplace Expertise: Champion testing, learning agendas, and emerging media opportunities by turning industry and channel trends into actionable recommendations.

Collaboration & Client Leadership: Represent the full investment team across traditional and digital channels, lead cross-functional integration, and translate channel activity into clear client updates.

Qualifications

10+ years of agency-side media investment experience across traditional and digital channels.

5+ years of prior staff management, development, and mentoring experience

Proven ability to lead cross-channel planning across objectives, budgets, audiences, activation, optimization, and measurement.

Experience managing complex national and local investment workstreams within integrated agency teams.

Strong client leadership, communication, organization, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and drive alignment.

Operates effectively in a matrixed environment, managing multiple priorities while reinforcing accountability and collaboration.

Command of media systems, tools, contract operations, and the upstream and downstream impacts of investment decisions.

Compensation Range: USD $121,315.00 - USD $166,000.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
