Job description

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has an amazingopportunity in the Athletics Department as a Full-Time Assistant Swimming &Diving Coach. We have been ranked No. 1 among U.S. engineering colleges by theU.S. News & World Report Best Colleges Guide for the last 27 consecutiveyears.


As our Full-Time Assistant Swimming & Diving Coach, youwill be responsible for assisting the head coach in managing the swimming &diving program by providing ongoing assistance in recruitment, training, andleadership for student athletes while creating positive experiences for allindividuals participating in the swimming & diving program. You will beexpected to act as a role model, exemplifying high standards of sportsmanship,conduct, and values in support of the mission and vision of the Institute.


This position will be heavily involved in recruitmentefforts, including player evaluation and communication with prospectivestudents from the identification stage through matriculation. You will beexpected to attend recruiting events throughout the Midwest and nationally toidentify potential recruiting targets. As our Assistant Swimming & Diving Coach,you will analyze and review video and metrics to evaluate skills andcommunicate with athletes on plans for development. Additional responsibilitieswill include managing program equipment, assisting with travel logistics, andpreparing opponent's scouting reports.


Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor's degree and oneto two years' experience playing or coaching at the collegiate or professionallevel.


Preferred candidates will have a master's degree and collegecoaching experience.

Salary range is 37,000 - 48,000. Salary is competitive. Ahigher salary may be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
