Empire is Hiring Seal Coat Crew Member



Southern California's fastest growing paving contractor is looking for a seal coat crew member to join our production team. Our office is located in Orange, California and we service the entire Southern California Area. To be eligible for this position 1-year experience is preferred but not required. Sealcoat crew members will be responsible for cleaning, prepping, trimming, maintaining and applying liquid seal coat and crack seal on pavement surfaces.


Applying for this position means that you will be working as a physical laborer and in a manner that is consistent with the striping and paving industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Will perform tasks involving physical labor at parking lots by operating one or several types of maintenance equipment
  • In charge of appropriate traffic control at job sites (signs, barricades, caution tape)
  • Use blowers, brooms, shovels, and a variety of other hand tools to ensure a clean surface prior to recoating.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, neat and organized job site


Qualifications:

  • Must be able to meet all safety requirements
  • Must be able to work overtime/weekends as required
  • One year of experience preferred but not required
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Can stand for extended periods of time and climb stairs
  • You can lift up to 90 pounds
  • Have an eagerness to learn
  • Ability to produce quality work
